About the author: Professor Veronica-Loredana Balan, PhD, received her PhD from “Al. I. Cuza” University of Iași, Romania and Poitiers University, France in 2006. Her field of research comprises medieval studies, French literature and cultural studies. In 2019 she became a full professor, after she defended her habilitation thesis entitled Cultural Filiations. Aesthetic and Moral Issues. Veronica-Loredana Balan is currently working at the Department of Foreign Languages at the Faculty of Letters at “Vasile Alecsandri” University of Bacău, Romania. She has already published 3 books on medieval studies at well-known publishing houses and participated in numerous international conferences.
